the samples of 'pictograms' have arrived, a set of 14 birthday cards published by soul through their sister company 'really good'. just waiting for the scandia sample set to come through now.

SPRING FAIR - 45 card designs launched !

i had a first chance to see all my new card designs on display at the spring fair in birmingham yesterday. i had two collections on the 'soul' stand and one on the 'really good' stand. it was a real event for me and everyone at soul is so nice. above are the 14 designs in the 'scandia' collection.
it was cool to see my congratulations card from the scandia set had been printed in a massive scale on the tower in the centre of the card hall at birmingham NEC. below is my pictograms set on the 'really good' stand.

also at the spring fair this year were my christmas designs for cardmix which have been recoloured and edited to live again for another year.

PUBLICITY - progressive greetings mag

the publicity around my forthcoming card ranges is starting to grow. there will be 42 designs published by soul, who also own 'really good'. several cards have been featured in the january and february editions of progressive greetings magazine.

NEW DESIGN FOR CARDMIX

a lovely parcel of samples from cardmix arrived recently featuring a few dozen of the matryoshka cards i designed for them earlier in the year. it has been used as a blank any occasion card.

INKJET DESIGNS IN A BOOK

three of my designs are featured in a new book called 'patterns' by macarena san martin. the designs were submitted a few years ago so they are pretty old, but im still pleased and proud to be included.

i did a craft fair last sunday which was really lovely and despite awful weather was packed with visitors. i thought whilst i had my stall all laid out nicely i'd take the chance to take some photos of some of my latest craft and design.

anniversary card

it was my brother's wedding anniversary this week - so i made him a card that was a re-design of his 2nd anniversary card. maybe i will just change the colours and ammend it slightly each year?

NEW ART PRINTS

i had this idea that i could take some of the pattern designs from my portfolio and turn them into art prints for framing. these are the first two i chose : folksy birds and apple blossom. see more pics in my etsy shop.
