INKJET for paperchase :: xmas 2010

here are some designs i created for the paperchase christmas 2010 range. the first is a set of four 'folk' cards which are sold as a box set.

the next designs are a great paperchase invention - a card that also includes a felt detachable chrismtas decoration. its such a nice idea and they have used my folk dove & tree designs. folk dove is also available as a felt covered notebook.

i also spotted my paperchase cards in ideal home magazine for a paperchase promotion and and a small but cool siteing of them in living etc this month.

INKJET for JOSEPH JOSEPH

two designs i created for joseph joseph this summer have just been released. flower apples and flower utensils are part of their brilliant worktop saves range. they are made from toughened glass and can be used for chopping and for resting incredibly hot pots on !

NEW STUDIO SPACE

i've been lucky enough to be able to create a brand new studio space this summer for my designing and writing. im still getting everything in and arranging it where i want it but im up and running and straight back into work. after the initial build and decor came the exciting bit as the ikea lorry arrived. this is what they left me - a huge pile of flat packs ! that same day the john lewis lorry arrived to bring me my kartell ghost chair by philip stark. i have wanted one for years, it lets the daylight pass right on through and is so so comfortable.i decided to fill the studio with ikea billy shelving for all my books, boxes and cards.i now have all my books close at hand, and a dedicated section for the one i wrote 'print & pattern'i also opted for doors on one of the billys to store all my crafty bits, envelopes, bubble wrap etc. i love the old fashioned postcard racks and added one to display my cardssome of my favourite things : orla kiely and bridgewater mugs, philip stark lamp and sukie noteblock. i love the ikea tripp tins below.

SCANDIA WRAPPING PAPER

the wrapping paper i designed recently has been produced under licence by soul uk. from my 'scandia collection' it was launched at the harrogate gift fair last month. with matching gift cards they are ready for wholesale now and i cant wait to see them in the shops.

SURTEX NEW YORK 2010

i will be visiting the surtex design show this year - unfortunately not exhibiting : ( but i will be available throughout the dates of the show if you want to see my work and discuss any projects. non exhibiting designers cannot bring their work onto the show floor but i can always hook up with you outside the show or somewhere in manhattan. just drop me an email.

RECENT HAPPENINGS ....

i've been so busy these past few weeks i havent had time to post - so here are a few things that have been occuring lately...

inkjet designs have two pages in the 'print & pattern' book
i was delighted to be asked to send a selection of my greetings card designs to schiffer books for a forthcoming publication.

my cute cloud design is now available on a notebook in paperchase. its a small hand bag sized spiral bound book with strong polyprop cover. spotted and snapped below instore at the covent garden branch of paperchase.

i have a couple of my prints 'scandi owls' and 'folksy birds' in an exhibition at a museum in hampshire.

EASTER CARDS - now in paperchase

i was over the moon to see my easter bunny design created for paperchase is now on sale. sold in packs of five it features a cute bunny hugging an egg surrounded by folky florals. also available online from paperchase here.

INKJET DESIGNS - on eastenders

a butterfly curtain design that i created for B&Q is currently featured on the bbc tv soap 'eastenders' where stacey has used a pair of them to make a changing room on her fashion market stall !
